Pheasant hunting at the ranch is done with an extended season, giving hunters a chance to hunt from Sept. 1 through March 31, and with an extended limit on birds. Here at CJR, we will open our season on Sept. 29, 2007, with a "Pheasant Classic" event, using 2-man teams of hunters.

Habitat is plentiful with 640 acres of tall grass prairie, shelter belts, ponds and some woodlands for cover. The 2 day package includes guided hunt (you may also bring your own dog/s), lodging, meals & snacks and dressing of birds. Birds will be frozen for your convenience. Also, your Controlled Shooting Area permits are available at the ranch. See rates page for complete pricing.
With the extended season, pheasant hunts may also be combined with a Deer Hunt, for a truly "one of a kind" hunting experience.
